Figs with honey and bay leaves


10-15 dried figs

1 piece of cinnamon wood

1 bay leaf

3 carnations

1 spoonful of honey

1 teacup of thyme beverage

1 teacup of whitened almonds


Put the thyme beverage into a saucepan; add the bay leaf, cinnamon, figs, carnations and honey.

Add 2 cups of water and let it smoulder at low fire for about 6 to 8 minutes.

Cover the saucepan and let figs soak in the spices’ broth. Serve with syrup and with almonds.
